In a product case, explain how you understand the problem and why you would choose one option over another. Make your assumptions clear so the interviewer can follow your reasoning.
Start by asking what the team wants to achieve and whose problem it is trying to solve. Consider a few options, explain the costs and limits of each, then choose a first version and say how you would judge whether it helped.
